Settimo quarry · Granito Verde Argento®

The quarry, known as Argentera, lies on the left side of the Dora Baltea valley, near where it opens onto the Canavese plain, at about 450 metres, in Settimo Vittone. Extraction is documented from the 18th century, with historical uses in Borgofranco, Tavagnasco and Settimo Vittone.

According to the material page, the quarry has been worked by Vuillermin Gualtiero since 1975; the company history gives 1988 as the year activity restarted. Both statements are reported as published.
