The beginnings: the pursuit of beauty.

Our history is a tale of passion, creativity, and commitment that began in 1951. Gualtiero Vuillermin, driven by a love of detail and the quest for beauty, decided one day to renovate an old dresser by replacing the wooden top with one made of green Gressoney marble. The result was so wonderful that Gualtiero left his job as town secretary and founded his own company with his wife Dorina and a single employee: a completely artisanal business in the small town of Issogne.
Thanks to his passion and foresight, the company has continued to grow over the years, investing in people and technology to achieve increasingly ambitious results and goals. In 1960, they moved to Verrès, where the headquarters are still located today.

An artisanal, entrepreneurial, innovative spirit.
But Gualtiero’s desire for innovation and ambition did not stop: in 1988, he reopened the historic Silver Green Granite® quarry in Settimo Vittone and, in 1991, that of the ancient Green Courtil Stone® quarry in the communes of Hône-Ponboset. In 1998, a “Stone Center,” was created in the Municipality of Issogne, and the following year an area used for block storage was dedicated in the Municipality of Arnad.
Since 2005, Ivano Vuillermin has been continuing the business with the same enthusiasm with which, over seventy years ago, his father restored that old dresser. Today, Vuillermin Gualtiero is a company recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence, thanks to prestigious projects entrusted to us from all over the world.

Our branch is located in Pietrasanta, Tuscany, at the foot of the Apuan Alps, known for some of the most prestigious marble quarries in the world. With more than one hundred active marble quarries within minutes’ reach, our location is strategically advantageous. This proximity allows us to work closely with leading companies in a variety of production fields, benefiting from an efficient logistics system and enabling us to manage each project with the utmost care and precision.
